It was what we needed. Request an extra blanket before we got there and it was in the room. The pool was nice. We used the grill and picnic table. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was very good. If I'm ever in the area again I would book again.
A solid hotel overall. Rooms are in good shape and staff are very nice. Everything was clean. Being slightly older you have your general wear on things like dressers, etc but that is literally a nitpick and not something that will impact your stay. Location is off the beaten path compared to most other hotels in town, but in a nice area.
Easily accessible from US 41. Nearby road construction was present, but there wasn't a serious delay. Nearby restaurants, grocery shopping. Rooms were neat, clean and furnished like home for meal preparation. The complementary breakfast has various cold and hot options. Check-in and out quick. Receptionists were friendly and knowledgeable of points of interest
I have stayed here at Townplace Suites Vincennes on many occasions but today was super special and the staff let me know it and showed it, with a special rendition of happy birthday. I turned 70 today and they not only sung happy birthday but also delivered a great cake and candle. Now they have to run me away. Thank you Townplace Suites Vincennes.
Got a room super late. 12 at night because previous hotel had roaches. This was nearby. Nice place. Dog fee is 50.00. Room was right by breakfast area. At about 445 staff started making breakfast. I could hear their conversations in the room. There was a bunch of banging that woke the dogs. I understand getting in late you don't have the best option of rooms, but the one by the breakfast area should be reserved for emergencies. Rolling in at 12. Bed by 1230 and then breakfast and staff talking has you up at 445. Not worth 180 bucks in taxes and fees. Room was great. Staff was great. Room location in regards to sleeping past 5....Not so good.
Thanks to Joy & Staff for the great hospitality while a work group of 10 stayed at the hotel. Clean rooms, great shower, and slept well! Look forward to staying again.
